I have 2, 72" LED strip lights from Current. They are dimming on the ends and brighter towards the middle...about 4 years old.

Is there a way to brighten them back up? ...a new power supply or something? or are they just worn out?

I have even thought of tearing them apart and replacing the blue with new brighter blue lights...which I will try as a last chance for them before throwing them in the trash.

Common issue with these lights. They may work evenly for a short period of time but they are not fixable.

Apparently it has to do with internal electronics of the light and doesn't have to do with the power supply as far as I know. There might be other reefers here that might be able to offer an insight on how to rebuild them.

after a bit of investigation, I figure it would cost more to rebuild than to buy a new light.
I looked at LED supply ... is this a place any of you are familiar with?

strips have 360 led in them....to change them all out would be high $$$ ... more than just buying a new light?
