Hello, my firework clove polyp has shown some algae growth over the last week and I feel like more of the cloves are not coming out when the light is in, half definitely still are. I tried to lightly brush some away and put in higher flow but it’s not really making a difference. Should I do anything else or do a hydrogen peroxide dip? My others corals don’t show any sign of that. Below are recent water parameters and pictures. Thanks in advance!

You need to move them away from that LPS ? Duncanopsammia. LPS sting clove polyps.

Got it thanks. I will move that away now. Any thoughts on the algae? Appreciate the help.

I would dip them in a peroxide solution of 20% (3%) peroxide and 80% tank water for 2-3 minutes. Boom! all algae will be dead. Just put it back in the tank after that.

I have done peroxide on clove polyps years ago. They survived but did not open for a few days. Usually I just toothbrush/pluck it off.
