Help Hammer Coral Snot!!

I bought a new hammer coral today and about halfway through a Bayer dip he started emitting tons of mucus. Did I hurt it? Is it just stress? Is there anything I should do? I though I was careful...

I looks as though your new coral didn't tolerate the Bayer dip. If it were me, id expect to loose this coral I'd place it in lower light, lower flow and hope for the best. consider replenishing carbon if you have some available, small water change in a few days if coral dies. sorry buddy
 
It did calm down a bit after just a few minutes in the tank.

My hammer coral did the same thing when I used Coral-rx. It was completely fine after.
