Hello All,

This is my first post to this site, though I've enjoyed it for quite a while. I picked up a small orange Carnation coral a few weeks ago, when I bought it I was told there was a bonus creature on it. I trust the store so I was not concerned that it would be a bad addition to my tank but I have no idea what it is. It seems to be growing pretty quickly and is a pretty blue and dark purple. Can anyone help me ID this thing?

Thanks in advance.

Looks like a colonial tunicate. Did your LFS tell you the requirements of both of these creatures? They are fairly difficult filter feeders and require nutrient rich water.
