This came in the size of a dime in a live rock I pick up from a reefer tearing down his tank. Now after 8 months it turned in to this. Any clues as to what it is?
Thanks,

I am thinking Valida but without a lot of vertical growth it's only a guess.

I would say it turned into a super fast grower. I would guess it's not an oregon torte though.
If your other corals are growing half as fast might I suggest you purchase a homewrecker and any other super hard to get acro and within a year you should be very wealthy.

I hope to find good stuff at Reef -A- Palooza next weekend. Ever since i switch from natural sea water to Red Sea Coral Pro there has been a dramatic positive change in my corals.

If your looking for stuff you just like the looks of then buy whatever pleases your eye. if your looking to sell frags in the future to offset some costs then purchase high end name pieces. I do both. havnt sold anything yet though. I look at them and just cant imagine cutting limbs off of my children.
