was told it was an sps.... but cant remember the name or anything. was gifted this and trying to find a needle in a world wide wed of hay. lol currently have it in moderate flow and light until i can research what it likes to give it a happy place in my tank (: thanks reefers for any help

I think that one may be a goner, unfortunately.
They gave it to me looking like that already and thought it's seeing it's last days which is why Im avidly searching for the type to not have it die. Definitely looks a bit white ish... But still has little flesh parts on it's branches.
 
you guys are right, i spoke with the gentlemen and he told me it indeed is porci... . he showed me the one he cut the frag from...
