Hi All,

I purchased this Zoa from Coralz.com as Eyes of Sauron Zoa, however as its grown larger im unsure if what i thought i purchased is as advertised.

Would a qualified zoa identifier let me know what type of Zoa they think it is in the attached photo.

Please ignore the bubble coral, i know i am a failure.

When I Google, I see a lot of different zoas being called Eye of Saurons. I'm not sure what yours are, but they're really cool!

Also, zoas can definitely morph to look quite different in one system than they did another. Check out how significantly this one changed for me:

Stuff you’re getting from corals.com (ECC) are all wild imports. They’ll put a name on there but it’s not gonna be something widely recognized or necessarily ‘correct.’

They don’t immediately look like a named strain. Eye on Sauron is sort of a generic ‘catch all’ name that’s been used time and again, no harm in rolling with that.

Sorry for the late reply, thanks mate I'm going to roll with it.

The website was www.coralz.co.uk, this guy did frag to order, but i would be lying if said my tank parameter were always perfect.

Thinking about claiming new genetic mutation, Ember Eye Coral sounded cool.
