Help Identify!

My reef tank has been up and running for 7 years but this is the first time I’ve ever seen this. I was about to clean my glass when I found this off white stringy mass on my cleaner and on the glass. Any help identifying it would be great so that I can decide if it should be removed or not. This was not there on Friday afternoon.

Those are mollusk eggs - my first thought would be sea hare eggs.

Makes sense!! I added a sea hare 6 months ago but there is only one.

Yeah, they're infertile then. A lot of people remove them, but others just let them decompose in the tank - it doesn't seem to cause any issues either way.

If that’s the case I’ll leave them and let my kids marvel at them.
