Help identifying this Puffer

LFS had two of them, both labeled Spotted Puffer. I really like the little guy. He burrows in the sand at night and is very active.
Can anyone tell me his exact species???

It is a puffer from the sphoeroides genus, I think it could be the bandtail puffer. They all get to about a foot in the wild, they do bury themselves in the sand, They haven't been very common but do show up from time to time. They haven't been reported as being overly aggressive and most who keep them, do enjoy them. I'm not the expert, as juveniles I get a little confused as to the exact species. But the bandtail is my best guess; the southern and the least puffer are 2 that also show up.
