I was wondering that myself but it's kind of odd that a small company would design and build a skimmer in a market that is flooded by big name companies making skimmers.I dont think it’s no big box brand
Yes they look pretty cool but the big issue is that there is no way to even get a new prop for the pump if it goes. I see that someone asked the question and they said to use a Bubble Magnus 600 or bigger pump. Thats an AC pump from what I can see. The IOAOI might be falling into my lap in a few days for free so before I even give it a try on my tank I will see if I can find source a replacement pump in case I do decide to use it full time. I have been using an ASM G3 for 15 years now with very little issue but I am interested to see how this stacks up. I also would love to reclaim some of my sump space. This one looked really cool, but not worth it to just give it a shot.

Who?The pump is the heart of a skimmer.. beware the "no-name" skimmer pump.
And yes, one look at the body tells me who mfg's it...
