I know nothing about South East Aquariums so can give no recommendations there.

Footprint alone, I like the custom size more.

What's the cost difference look like?

Any custom work should really be shopped against Joe's Glass Cages. They are just north of you in TN and have a Very Long list of stellar reviews from very critical buyers and love the custom game.
