Reef keeping myths.

I thought of this in the past few weeks after helping some local members that had bad advice from Petco and locals trying to sell them things. I've heard "cycled water" mentioned more times in the past week or two than I'd ever like to hear. "Live sand" in a bag at stores bothers me a bit too.

I think we need a good DIY guide or sticky that shows different DIY projects without having to read the entire thread.
Guids topic to include:
which LEDS are best
whats needed to build a LED system.
How to make a dim controllers.

i could contribute but am a rookie on the topic. I am still researching the topics myself.
