Please review the link that outlines the info that will help diagnose the situation. Also, what is the history of the fish and can you quarantine?

Hi,

It's breathing way to deeply and fast, something is seriously wrong. There is also a lesion on its upper back. We need a lot more background information about the tank and the fish. Here is a link that explains that:

I would suggest that you try to supply the additional information requested. In addition - I would set up a hospital tank (which can be as simple as a bucket a heater and an airstone (a tank would be better) - and get a broad spectrum antibiotic - kanaplex/maracyn 2. There are multiple other options - freshwater dip, ruby rally, copper, etc - but without more information it's irresponsible to suggest. BUT - that said the back lesion looks like a wound - and may be infected - thus the antibiotic recommendation. unfortunately - I can't see your video. If there is rapid breathing - as @jay hemal suggested - could be velvet, flukes, broolynella, or chemistry

Thank you all for your help I have set up a hospital tank and have been treating it daily with small doses of maracyn oxy and I think it's helping his breathing has slowed down to normal I think... here is updated pics and video

I just wanted to stop in and say that I'm amazed that this fish is still alive after seeing what it looked like last week. Good for you for taking the steps to give it a chance. The breathing still looks heavier than it should be, but it seems to be moving fairly normally (hopefully it's eating?). Anyway, I hope it works out for you and your fish.

It Is eating very regularly and I know that's a very good sign

When to mix up fish meal: When was the last time you tried a different brand of food for your reef?
