Help! My Ritteri anemone has dissected itself!

This is my first post on reef2reef, so please be merciful. To be honest, I'm not all together sure if my ritteri is an LPS (I'm quite new to the hobby). Anyhow, I have had this ritteri for several months. It initially moved around until it settled in. Yesterday I noticed that it had divided into two sections, both of which appear to still be alive. The red X in the photo marks its previous home, while the circles show the current location of each part. Is this normal for a ritteri? Is this some kind of final fight for life before it succumbs? The bottom section of it climbed up the rocks on its own, perhaps seeking more light? Please let me know what you think, especially if you have seen this before. Thank you. Jeff

Ritteri are infact anemones, and LPS are stoney corals, and for the most part immobile.
It's very hard to make out what's happening. Are you sure about the type of anemone, where did you get it?

My bad. Yes, now that you mention it this is a Ritteri anemone. It is primarily white with small blue dots here and there. I purchased it from a very reputable and experienced shop in my area. Do you see the two separate parts of him? Does the "stump" look like the bottom half of a Ritteri? Perhaps not, but I've never seen him before and the first time I spotted him he was near the white Ritteri. We had an issue with a FoxFace eating some corals (he's been removed). Does the stump look like the remains of a partially devoured coral? Thank you for responding.

The one on the rock is a starving/drying bubble tip and the other is a sebae anemone. I’d reach out the shop to see if you can return the sebae as you have no knowledge on anemones or any livestock before you buy it. Till then I’d research on how to keep an anemone. They are not large polyp stony coral (LPS)

The FoxFace I mentioned had eaten the bubble tip, I just hadn't realized any of him had survived. Thank you for the information and advice. Most appreciated.
