So my tank is approx 35 gallons 24x20x20 and I need to purchase a Powerhead. I plan on having LPS and Softies to start and possibly SPS in the future. I want to put the Powerhead on the back glass.

I was originally thinking 2 MP10's but my glass is 10mm which is slightly thicker than the 9.5mm for which they are rated. I have read many posts with mixed responses on whether or not the 10mm glass is an issue.

So here is the question:

Should I risk 2 MP10's, or can I buy a single MP40? I am a little worried that the MP40 will be too powerful for this size tank, but I don't want issues with if I get MP10's.

Ask EcoTech. They have a sponsor forum here at R2R.

I see they say it works on 0.375" glass which is 3/8th" or 9.5 cm. I'd bet it would work on 10 cm just as well.
