Help need some in a bad kinda way

Ok my halide ballast just died it went off the other week suddenly for no reason so I thought it was dieing then it cooled and I cut it back on and it has worked fine until yesterday and now its gone and it couldn't be at a worse time I have a small used car lot and this is the time of year I that I stock up on cars and I had to buy my wife a new ride as hers was totaled so I'm beyond broke and it at least 2 weeks before I can get new ballasts so what I want to know is if anyone has a white vho bulb cheap I will be moving mostof my corals to my buddys tank but I have a few that are attached to some large rocks that will be staying behind I'm hopping that 1 white and 1 actinic will do for temporary life support so if you got one it can be used or new I don't care as long as it is cheap thanks in advance for any help

I dont have a vho bulb but i can loan you a ballast and a bulb !!! I have 2 x 250 watt mh i dont use and 2 xm bulbs.. I would just need to get them back i replaced them with a new set up but i plain on using them down the road on a frag tank.. But you are welcome to use it until you can get another ballast

If nutting else go to lowes and buy a shop light and bulbs cost you around $15 dont worry about a actinic bulb they will do fine without it for soft corals. I run a 55g that way for a good while without any issues

I have a 4 bulb t5 fixture you can use or I will sell for 40

thanks for the help guys bhamr6 is hooking me up with a loaner setup turns out that bhamr6 and myself used to ride bikes together talk about a small world we used to be bad *** bikers now we are reef dorks my how things changes lol

I've told the group a thousand times i can't believe i went from racing bikes to building reef tanks... Times sure have changed went from racing at Barbers to holding reef meetings at my house

yea remember me out running shelby county first time we rode that was the stuff reefing has its fun too and the cost is about the same but the good thing about about reefing when it crashes it just hurts your heart and wallet not your body lol

Paul turns out its my bulbs and not the ballast I hooked it up using my existing set up since they are both pfo ballast and nothing so swapped the bulb for the one you sent and it worked so I tried my ballast with some spare bulbs and it worked fine going to try it for a few days and see what happens

I'll take you up on the bulbs just txt me one day this week when its good for you and I'll bring you the ballast back and scoop up the bulbs .I still tell people what he said I was all worried that he would think I was a idiot and he was like I told paul if you pulled over we weren't ever ridding with me again I still lol about that
