Need your help. Thanks in advance.
I have this brown algae on my rocks, appeared two days ago, it’s not covering every bit of the rocks but a good amount. During the day it is brownish and at night it almost turns radioactive green. Also, it looks like it has silver air bubbles in it. The “air bubbles” appear as the lights get ready to go off for the night.
12hr light schedule
40gallon breeder
HOB refugium with chaeto(light on opposite DT light for 8hrs)
Reef octopus HOB 100 skimmer
Ammonia-0
Nitrite-0
Nitrate-8
Phosphate (Hanna ULR) - .16
DKH- 4
All tests conducted with Red Sea marine care kit besides Phosphate
It’s hard to see the “air bubbles” as I can only see maybe 8 right now with the light on, but when the lights are about to turn off I can see 20 to 30 of them.
The brownish color algae is also on some of the aubstrate(crushed coral) but that has 0 of the silverfish air bubbles.
