Curious on that. You happen to have a picture.I’ve had mine up for about 2weeks now, used the middle section with a pvc stand for algae scrubber in a trigger 39. I have the pump in the skimmer section with pump by the outflow of the slimmer and the return of the ATS in the pump return section
Trying to see how you have that set up exactly. Looks like there is an in feed on the bottom? It’s a little bit of a mess right now but here you go
The last pic is the stand I built out of pvc
Same here, as I was dosing vibrant to get rid of some BA. Now that my nutrients are creeping back up, time to install it again. It’s funny you say that... my ATS is actually offline right now, as it was running too well, making my tank too clean. Trying to bump up my nutrients and run a little dirtier right now.
I have mine on a separate pump as it allows me to better control the flow over the screen.Do you guys think it is better to use a separate pump or pipe it in? @Water Dog @homer1475
Yeah I have a sicce syncra 2.0 approx 500gph feeding the scrubberTrying to see how you have that set up exactly. Looks like there is an in feed on the bottom?
Love the
Love the Ruby Red accents in your new sump. I'm about to build a water fall Algae Scrubber in my new used All-In-One 70 Gallon Built In Back Sump after my Biohome Ultimate Marine Media. I ran one on the back of my 29 gallon tank for over a year worked great. Thanks for sharing.
Have you thought about just running a timer on the light on the ATS to control the growth? It’s funny you say that... my ATS is actually offline right now, as it was running too well, making my tank too clean. Trying to bump up my nutrients and run a little dirtier right now.
