Ive been busy with work these weeks and barely taking care of my tank. Today I got back from work and notice my plate coral have few spots that expose the skeleton out, not to severe but enough to make me concern. I havent check my ca mg and kh for more than a week and been blindly dosing 2.5ml AFR everyday. Now i test again after 10% WC yesterday, the ca from 450 down to 400 and kh from 8.3 down to 6.8. Im planning to increase the AFR dose everyday to 3ml and dose kh seperately if needed. About healing the plate, I have oyster feast, ab+, reefroid and Fauna S in the fridge, should i mix all of em and feed the plate once a week?

Feed normally but move it to a darker spot with less flow to limit stess factors. Slowly bring back to your original parameters over maybe 1 or 2 months. You can feed once or twice a week but dont overfeed

Ive already moved it to a more shaded area. I stopped feeding them 2 weeks ago cause of algae outbreak, its been more stable now so i could feed again but only once a week. Weird that all the other lps in the tank been well except for that plate and a scoly.

Is there anything picking at it

Tank have only a picasso clown in the breeding cage. CUC have 3 conches, 5 turbo snails and a hermit crab which i believe non of them would pick at the coral. Also since my tank have no fish roaming around, i notice there are a lot of small worm like the bristle worm on the front glass, but im not home to check on if they do something to the plate or not.

Typically rhey won't. Mine dont. It could be your flow or the massive swing dropping it. Any updated photos?

Its been doing well at that spot with that flow for nearly 6 months, I think its the kh drop that made it stressed. Im at work so I will post the inage when i got home.

This is it rightnow. Back from work and light been on for 6hours no sign of inflating
