I have a CUC and a blue eyed tang in QT to get transferred over into this tank but I'm not sure if that'll be enough to help with whats going on in my DT. Any advice on what i dhould do about this?

just looks like standard green hair algae - what's the concern? If your tank is new, which judging by the rock color I'm guessing it is, this is normal and nothing to worry about as long as your water parameters are good.

When to mix up fish meal: When was the last time you tried a different brand of food for your reef?
