Tank has been rescued 3 months ago it was running for 2-3 yrs prior to me getting it all the rock is the same the clown fish are the same the live sand is new (3 months now old) all new clean up crew and start blenny and 6 line wrasse and 2 cardinals. Using rpm reef pro salt 5 gallon water change every week
Zoas, acan, cans cane, Goni , blasto, clove polyps, polys, gsp, rbta, toadstools. So my tank has been doing great so far haven’t experienced too many problems. The only thing that I’m really struggling with is my nems I got one from a friend that moved around every day for a week until it shriveled up, and I removed it from the tank in fear that it was done it wasn’t even grabbing food anymore and was showing its entire mouth as if I could see almost all the way down inside of it. Its mouth was spreading wider than itself at some point. The second one was introduced at the same time and is now shrinking to a very small size and has lost almost all color my candy canes no longer have the big volume heads that they did. They’re not in terrible shape, but they still have great color. They just are a lot smaller and I’m not seeing the tentacles come out as much. My favia looks as if it is struggling. Zoas seem great new heads constantly polys are great cloves are great blastos are great
Toadstools are great and the fish are all great. What am I missing ??? Is it too soon even though it was an established tank for nems am I maybe not as consistent since I don’t have an ato? I do spot feed reef roids once a week and feed frozen brine mysis and plyto on rotation daily and offer seaweed of course.
