Really i'm having issues removing the shrimp. Seems my pistol shrimp has a nice home inside a 15lbs rock. This rock has one SPS and one Duncan colony growing on it. Problem is, when I go to stick my hands in to remove the rock, the shrimp hides inside. I've tried shaking it with no luck.

Any helpful ideas?

Try a piece of mysis on a hook with a sinker and get it by him. When he grabs the mysis try and pull him away from the rock and net him quickly.

I will give that a shot. Sounds much easier said than done, but im running low on options.

Why are we trying to remove this guy?

Moving all live stock to a new tank. The tank has a bryopsis problem.
