Help: Randall's Goby breathing fast

I got this Randall's goby 2 days ago. He seemed fine until about 2 hours ago, when I noticed him breathing quite hard. I moved him to a hospital tank with an air stone. It's almost midnight so I can't run and grab any medication but maybe a freshwater dip would help? Any tips appreciated.

#fishmedics for more help. Freshwater dip can easily stress and/or kill a fish, personally its not something I would do unless someone very experienced guided me

I understand that your goby has died?

You should look at "damage control" now - just in case this fish had a parasitic disease that may have gotten introduced into your tank:

What other fish are in the tank?
How long has the tank been set up?
How does the water quality test out?
