Hello all , wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction as to what can be done to help my randalls goby. this must have happened sometime last night because i'm pretty sure it was fine yesterday. does anyone know how i can help aid the fish in a mixed reef from sps to lps? anyone with advice appreciated. i would like to add that i do have a handful of emerald crabs in the tank battling bubble algae. i think they may be the cause , could this be caused by emeralds? thanks all

If it were me, i would put him into a quarintine tank and feed him some extra, he will be fine, wait until he is healed before you put him back into the DT,

that might be tricky to get him to a qt tank right away , but i can sure feed it some extra with no problem. captain , you think quarantine is necessary ? thanks for the reply. is this kind of fin reduction related to not being fed enough? just trying to figure out if i should be worried about these emerald crabs now that i have seen this. they have been in the tank for about a month with no problems.

I would say not really necesary, but would help....... speed healing time , if you remove the cause/potential casuse themn it will be better

My sailfib blenny rips his all th time backing in and out of holes. Usually healed up in 2-3 days

thanks for the reply. i'll bump up my feeding this week and see how it goes. probably pull out some emeralds in the next week or two as well. besides the fin it seems happy and healthy.
