Help recommend me probes and controller

I have never had any probes can someone recommend where to start

I have always had a test kit I know nothing about probes

I would either get a controller or start looking into individual probes. Controller will be well worth the money for probes and add one later if you want.

Are you looking to monitor a specific parameter?

It depends on your budget and what all you are looking for. If you just want probes then I would look at an Apex Jr, RKL or a Puratek.
