Testing for alkalinity with Red Sea alkalinity pro. And the test result was 7.6.. And I use BRS two part alkalinity to rise it to 9. After dosing. I want 30 min then I test it again with Red Sea alkalinity pro and the result turn out 7.0..... What did I do wrong? Please help!

Can you take pics of everything your using? This will clarify what whent wrong. Alk wont decrease unless you added an acid.

Its possible your test kit is bad. And could be user error too.

The alk test for Red Sea is hard to tell the end point. I had this same problem. This is the only test I don't like from Red Sea very difficult. I bought a cheap API test for alk to confirm numbers . They show the endpoint as almost a red color but the endpoint you get is almost like a peach color
