Hi, i need some help switching out the leds in my Black Box fixtures, they came with 2 red leds and 2 green leds and i really dislike these colors and how they make my tank look. I found a pretty simple looking walkthrough on changing the leds but i need help selecting the replacement lights.

These are the lights that i purchased: http://www.ebay.com/itm/SunSpect-16...749262?hash=item418de9450e:g:-SIAAOSwYlJW35OL

And i was thinking of replacing the red and green leds with 3w 420nm uv leds but im not sure which leds to buy. I was thinking of pulling the trigger on these: http://www.ebay.com/itm/10pcs-3W-Pu...862897?hash=item3ab5e62871:g:OuUAAOSw7hRWPMq2

Will these work, and is the 420nm a good idea to replace the green and reds? Thanks for your help this will all be new to me.

Given the numerous versions with unknown, Non UL or CE Drivers and Powersupplies, I would consider the overall worth of an upgrade.

The Generic 3 watt LEDs can be easily soldered and replaced for 1$.

I prefer the close to full spectrum provided by the Cree 5 watt XT-E or XP-G...Just food for thought as using Cool White LEDs Binned for color makes a huge difference. The Generics are not binned and often mislabeled.
