Since getting back into the hobby and reading for years on lighting, I decided to run T5 on this latest tank. Previously I ran 250w my de Phoenix bulbs very successfully. Now running this 8-bulb T5 for 3 years, I’ve realized there is no “best bulb” combination. Most will grow corals successfully. Choose a good balance of color and be consistent and things will grow. I added two led bars for morning and evening viewing mainly.
