Most PVC primers are purple - ugly. Try to find "clear" PVC primer. I know Amazon sells it. And the same for the PVC glue. Avoid the "hot" PVC glues, they are red or blue when dry. Get the "clear" PVC glue. Much nicer appearance when done.
