Hey guys so I got this pump a long time ago in a box of random reef stuff and never really gave it a second thought (I'm/was a koralia guy ;))

I'm trying to test it but it won't turn on. The cord looks frayed on both ends but wires look ok. It didn't come with a power cord so I'm using a laptop cord, is that the issue? What should I try to troubleshoot this thing?

Probably my 4th koralia started leaking 75 volts into my tank yesterday and I'm sick of buying them so it's time for an upgrade (whether that's this pump or a new mp40 or gyre)

Update

Just got the new power supply in and no dice. I plug it in (doesn't want to plug all the way in) and nothing happens. Just a blue light on the power supply.

Do I need a new controller? I can't seem to find any for sale
