just messing around the tank and seen my tube worm under a rock went to pull out and all I got was the tube now the worm is in the tank with no tube is he going to die what do I do

This happened to mine once. Was rearranging rock and his tube got destroyed. 2 month later he made a new one and is still a happy resident.

Yep, if the fish don't get him he'll make another tube no worries.
