Hey guys, i am upgrading to a 75 gallon soon, and i am hoping to upgrade my lighting from some cheap black boxes to some thing good. I just am looking for a light that can just grow some coral nothing fancy has to be a LED, and my budget is $300.

Unless you can find a good deal on used led fixtures $300 isnt really doable to light a 75 gallon imo if you are not wanting black box. But if you could go a little higher than I would recommend the Nicrew 150 Gen 2

I recommend the A8 Pro II. It’s a Chinese xr30 knockoff. I have three over my 8 foot tank along with 2 gen 5 xr30s and they are indistinguishable. Well, other than the price tag which is about 1/4 of radion.

Just get some 165 watt black boxes. They 100% will grow corals and you’ll be able to do a soft/LPS tank with them just fine.

I recommend Vipar over Wills, Vipar has a closer spectrum to what corals need vs Wills (I also run wills on zoa only tank) but this light I struggled to do anything with any other coral than my zoas. The single blue 450-460nm light spectrum hurts the wills
