Help! What to do with mantis?

A couple months ago I had a mantis in my tank. I caught him (not sure what species but brown and very small). I didn't know what do do with him so I put him in a bug keeper in my sump (the outlet of the chiller goes into the bug keeper so he has oxygen and clean water). Just recently he stopped eating. He will grab the food (frozen mysis) and carry it away from his den and dump it. All my other fish/crustaceans are eating well and no signs of disease. I want to get rid of the mantis somehow. I don't have any friends that keep saltwater so I can't give him to them. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Would you be able to call local fish stores and ask them to take it? Maybe they can trade you or offer store credit?
