Hello.

My ATO was working wonderfully. Then, a few days ago, it stopped topping up. If I unplug it and plug it back in, it fills the sump back up to the correct level. However, it won’t initiate filling again on its own unless I unplug and plug back in the controller again.

Please help! Thank you!

You want to make sure the optical sensor is clean. You can take it out and soak it in water with a little vinegar or citric acid.

Yes, this would be a sensor issue the most common would be a sensor hazed over by calcium deposits and a soak in vinegar or citric acid will solve it.
