Hi everybody, I m trying to set up my AC3 on my home network using a ethernet cable,(I have an Imac,, and I get my wireless internet using an Airport extreme.)
I followed the instructions on the manual, and nothing I can't access my AC3 on my computer.
Probably I m missing something,,
this is what I do:
First I connect my AC3 to my Airport extreme thru a ethernet cable,,then
1-I type my computer's IP address in my AC3 on Net Setup option,,(I only change the 3 last digits)
2-I type my computer's subnet-mask, in netmask set up option on AC3
3-I type my Router address in gateway set up option on AC3
4-I enter the DNS server, and Alternative DNS server
5- I restart the AC3
after all that I type the IP address I entered on AC3 in step 1 on my web browser (Safari), and nothing.
I m trying to get my AC3 to work with Aquanotes using my computer,so I can set up my AC3 to work wirelessly using a router connected directly to the AC3, and that way I ll be able to control and monitor my tank using my Iphone from any place.
Does anyone have experience on doing so, using an Imac computer with Airport extreme?
I already called the Neptunes support and left a message but nobody has returned my calls!
Thanks.

I do not have a Mac but the settings should be just about the same. Did you by chance change the port number on the controller? When setting our controller up I wrote down all the settings and rechecked them all and first connected to it hardwired from the computer to verify all setting are correct.
