Well I'm going backwards! Tank was set up and did not QT my fish and got the VELVET! Set up a QT and transferred all the fish and now my display tank will be fishless for 70+ days!
How often do you feed your shrimp and Crabs? I know he generally eats every day when I feed the fish. But now what? Do I spot feed him. And I believe the crabs will chew on the algae.

Just feed enough that the shrimp will eat every day. If the crabs will eat algae, then great! Although depending on the crabs, you might want to toss in a few pellets for htem to hunt down every few days. If they're emeralds, then maybe once a week so they'll focus on eating algae. If they're hermits and there are snails, then every other day so the crabs won't prey on the snails.
