Hey everyone. Looking for help on what my clown goby has. I noticed him running on rocks a few days ago but didn’t think much of it but today there’s a white protruding spot on the body and on the other side looks like some mucus coming off (couldn’t get a pic of that wide). Other than rubbing it’s acting normal and still eating. I’m worried about brooknella or a fluke. Any advice would be welcome!

Looks like a bump or cyst and not disease and keep an eye on it for receding. If not, you can treat with seachem neoplex

Thank you for the advice! Do you think the irritation on the opposite side could just be from rubbing on the rocks? (And would it rub the opposite side if it was just an isolated cyst or something like that?)

They do hide within coral and get scrapes

By "running on rocks", do you mean scratching?

Like flashing/rubbing against a rock to get something off

Thanks everyone for the advice. Probably was just a small injury. I stepped away for like 5 hours and he already looks quite a bit better. I was probably overreacting.
