Hey, bit of newbie here. My tank is 7 months old. I need some advice on what to feed and how often to feed my tank. I'm quite sure after reading some forums I am overfeeding. I now have green hair algae and vermetid snails in my tank :( & my nutrients run high a few days after a water change.

I have a 36 gallon tank with:
Live rock
1- snowflake clown
1- mandorin dragonette
1-firefish
1-cleaner shrim
1- arrow crab

Beginner Corals:
1 - Green pocillipora
2-Encrusting hydnophora
1-hammer
1-Duncan
1-brown button polyp
1-red button polyp
1- green seriatopora

I've been feeding Reef Roids, phytoplankton, mysis shrimp, Rod's food, Rod's polyp pleasers 3-4 times a week although not at once. I also feed the fish flakes 2x a day.
Any help would be great. Everyone is happy except I want the nuisance stuff gone and the nutrients to level out. I just want to make sure everything gets fed properly.

Cut down to one feeding per day rotating foods. Feed the coral once a week. The coral really don’t need to be fed, it promotes growth but at a cost. Remember that fish are opportunistic eaters. They’ll always beg for food but their stomachs are tiny and the food we feed them is loaded with nutrients for them
