Help with fish stocking

I have my 125 gallon tank (72”x18”x22”) back up and running finally. It’s been running and doing great for 6 months now.

Currently my livestock so far is:
2 Clownfish
1 Blue Tang
1 Sailfin Tang
1 Bicolor Blenny
1 Flasher Wrasse
(Will be adding more wrasses and a bristletooth Tang at some point)


I’m looking for advice on anthias to stock in the tank. How many can I stock in this size tank? I would like to limit aggression as much as I can. What kind of anthias would you recommend... Lyretail, Bartlett, Carberryi ect ect....

The first two you mentioned (lyretail, Bartlett) are supposedly among the hardiest. But they are pretty chippy. Bartlett's are famous for all becoming male and picking at each other. You may be able to have success with a small group (4-6 maybe?) of lyretail since you have a 6' 125 gallon. Getting them all as small females would be best.

Carberryi, dispar, ignitus are supposed to be better behaved.

Thank you for your input, I was hoping maybe 5 would work as I have read the more the better with less aggression.

I feel like the most well behaved ones would be my best bet, I feed a very very rich diet so I don’t think health will pose an issue.
