Looking for some suggestions on setups that have worked for people. I have a 4ft long 75 gallon tank.

Currently using a Maxspect Gyre pump rated at 2000gph. I have tried lots of settings and it seems like it is either too high and my stuff is getting blown all over the place or is too low and I get stagnant areas.

I am considering adding another pump of some sort on the opposite wall so I can run the gyre at a more reasonable level while still crating enough flow to eliminate the stagnant areas.

Does this seem like a good idea?

Would you place the other one towards the top facing down or maybe towards the bottom pointing starting across?

Just looking for recommendations, thanks!

Have you tried counter-current?...but yes, adding a second on the other end will help also.
