I got a gorgonian a few days ago and I’ve been having difficulty getting it to stick upright. I’ve put it in a hole but it still falls over, I believe it’s too heavy. Should I try to cut it in half and place them upright then?

its so hard to get gorgs to stick to any rocks, I usually just wedge it in between 2 rocks, it will eventually base out on the rocks.

I used two part epoxy stick, moulded around the base.

Use 2 frags of marco rock and place the Gorgonian trunk between them and use super glue gel to hold the rocks together.

A drill with 3/16” masonry bit works great. Gently remove about 1/4” of gorg tissue leaving the exposed woody center. Fill hole in rock with super glue gel, insert gorgonian frag woody end into the super glue. Enjoy your new frag
