Mine grows on the glass and sand so pretty sure it’ll grow anywhere. Is it me or is calcium a tad low? You do any water changes or add trace elements?
I do bi weekly water changes. My phosphates are a little high at .25 but they have always been that high. I am getting that lowered now.

I recently started doing 10 gallon water changes instead of 5 and it makes my candy canes look better. Just did a wc 2 days ago. Plan to test today hopefully. Last weeks test
mag 1360
salinity 1.024 which I am bringing up to 1.026
phosphates .25
nitrates 25
calcium 438 which was a bit low
ph 8.2
alk 7.2

I had a chalice frag die shortly after adding it to tank....i added a clown that paired with my huge elephant ear mushroom and i think pretty much killed it as it is small and white now. Trying to bring it back but cant get anyone to take the clown fish.

The GSP colonies are what get me. Everyone says they are impossible to kill.......that's totally untrue lol
