Help with id of white spot on purple tang

Had him 4 days spot hasn’t grown or moved and it is the only one curious on what it possibly be?

May be a nick or even single cell lymphocystis. Keep a continued eye on it and assure proper diet as fish is slightly thin

Do you mean the white spot on its cheek? That is just a scrape.

Fish is a bit thin. I prefer not to feed small zebrasoma tangs very much Nori. They fill up on it and then may not get enough higher protein & fat food.

I have also been feeding spirulina brine shrimp and mysis soaked in selcon as well just got him 4 days ago from supplier was way skinner before

Looks alert and feeding.
A nip a source? No way to know.
But I see no worries.
