Hello,

I just recently purchased a AFS to prepare to go away. I went to plug it in today and do the setup. Fusion was able to see it was able to program it but when I click on the feeder in the dashboard to test by turning it on it does nothing. The same when I do the feeding cycle. I have opened a ticket with support but thought I would check here to see if anyone else has the same problem.

Running a Apex EL just purchased all updated. Completed the update on the feeder as well. Turned on the Output log and can see me turning it on and off put the feeder doesn't extend or turns.

Can you paste a screenshot of the feeder program?
Just kept the default setup right now to make sure things are working first

Under "control type" change it from "feeder" and select "advanced" Now take another screenshot.

Go to the modules page. Check the status of the feeder.

Lets try to reset APEX. You will need a small needle. On the apex brain theres a small hole. Insert the needle and hold for a few seconds and APEX will reset.

OK. Open the feeder. Can you move the drum? Does it have wiggle room at all. Sometimes the cogs are stuck from the factory and need a little nudge to start working.

Since it was an open box... it came with a bus cable? You can try using a different bus cable. Or deleting the AFS and installing it in a different port.

Just wanted to let you know it was the Cog's that were stuck I didn't notice where it opened till I received a picture from support this morning. I was able to get them moving and now it will extend.

Thanks for your help
