I treated him with Furan-2 and triple sulfa for 10 days back when I first got it in early Feb. It's been 5 weeks since that treatment finished.

Well the red spot by his mouth went away on its own. I have still only done that initial round of antibiotics 6 weeks ago (furan-2 and triple sulfa). It's been almost 7 weeks in QT, and in addition to the antibiotics, went through TTM and 2 doses of prazi. He still has these reddish-brown spots as well as lympho. When I first got him, he came in a bit bloody, which went away after antibiotic treatment but then came back after the stress of the power outage. Could the reddish-brown spots also be lympho? Should I continue to wait it out or does it look like it might be a bacterial infection that should be treated with antibiotics? If it all is just lympho, should I just put him into the DT at this point? I think he would be more comfortable and less stressed out.

I’m curious about what humble thinks... but, I’m inclined to think it is a lingering bacterial infection.

It might go away on it’s own eventually with good, frequent feeding of vitamin-soaked foods. Or it might not. The lympho doesn’t concern me, it will probably hang around until his immune system is back up to par. But the red spots are a little iffy. Have you noticed them getting any worse? Or have they pretty much stayed the same?

I think if they haven’t changed much and he’s not in distress/breathing heavily I’d probably just continue to wait it out for now...

When I first received it, it was pretty bad, which went away after antibiotics. After the power outage, it came back, but not as bad as when I first received it. It's been getting slightly better since then (it's been about 3 weeks).
