help with overflow setup

I just picked up a used 210 with dual overflow boxes each box has a 1" and 3/4" bulkhead. can a run a herbie using the 2 1" drain 1 full siphon one as the e drain or would it be better to use both 1" as the siphons and a 3/4 as the e pipe and the other 3/4 as return
