Hi all.

We have a par meter and checked out the levels on our 80g today during the longest stretch of light on the schedule.

Can someone help me understand if these readings are ok?

We run 2 Maxspect Ethereal Infinate E8 230's.

Thanks for any help

What brand of par meter donyou use? BRS put out a very helpfull video doing tests and showing correction factors of different brands of par meters. Mine for example has a +30% correction factor.
Apogee. We actually went off the video you mention. The numbers we put are corrected based on the suggestion on the brs video. Thank you for mentioning it though

Awesome in that case, i think the par levels are just fine. If corals look happy, i wouldn’t worry too much about par. IME higher par just increases growth rates of stoney corals for the most part (higher par meaning in the 350+ range)
