Can anyone identify what this is? I recently picked up a pulsing xenia frag from the lfs and noticed the last 2 days it wasnt pulsing as much and didnt look well. I noticed this thing on the frag plug and it appears to have tentacles of some sort.

Might be a spaghetti worm, They are good guy if it is one.

Well since the worm appeared, the pulsing xenia hasnt been as open or active with no other changes to the tank. Irritating the coral?

Since you just got it 2 days ago I would give it a little more time
