Got home from vacation and have a scoly in my QT tank I got about 3weeks ago and doesn’t look good. Is there anything I can try to bring it back? I do have saltwater mixing currently to do a water change.

Salinity 1.025
Ph 8
Temp 78°
Cal 375ppm
Alk 8.8 dkh
Mag 1310
Phosphate 1.0ppm

Phosphate seems high, any fish, can you list.
If the fish didn't get fed over vacation perhaps one found your meaty scoly.
My filefish will nip if hungry.

Calcium is low and in absence, it is speculation. Could have been an alk spike, any possibility of temporary power loss w/storms, etc,
Phos should have dropped if feeding was reduced making it too a suspect. Because a coral appears white, however, does not necessarily indicate that bleaching has occurred. The same signs of a pale or bare coral can also be indicative of tissue recession, competition, predation, environmental stress, and disease.

There was a power outage for a few hours. Did reduce feed when phosphates spiked. Other coral in the tank look ok. Hammers aren’t extending either
