Good day everyone
I seem to have a starting problem with my frogspawn and my candy cane coral. It seems the flesh band is starting to recede, even though the corals were growing and extending nicely.
There was some change in the tank, as i upgraded to a bigger tank and redid the whole aquascape. This was around 4 months ago and the corals stayed in the same place since then, they were always nicely extended and grew a bit.
I changed the flow a bit about a month ago, they do not have too much flow in my opinion but still some. Maybe not enough? I am not sure.
I just noticed the flesh bands yesterday while cleaning. For the frogspawn, about a month ago i added a second frogspawn and put it beside the existing one. But the new one started to recede quite a bit so i moved it away into less flow, seems to be doing better for now, even though it was always open before as well.
My parameters are currently:
Temp 25.4
Nitrate 10
Phos 0.08
Calc 450
Mag 1400
Alk 7.5
Salinity 1.025
Attached are some pictures of the two corals and a full tank shot.
I am very thankful for all feedback!
